Not Pajamas

"They are not pajamas," I kept telling her. "Why do you think the outfit came with a hat? Do pajamas come with hats?"

"Mom said they're pajamas and I'll be totally embarrassed if you make me wear this outside." she emphasized again,  "Why can't I wear something else??"

"Mom bought this for you to wear as pajamas. It's a cute outfit and I'd like a picture of you wearing it."

"FINE! So where are we going to take the picture?"

"I have no idea. Let's just get in the car and start driving."

I did have an idea, actually. A fairly new housing development in Allen has a small park near it, so off we went.

Sometimes she's completely uncooperative. Like when I really need a good picture... our Christmas card, for example. Other times she can give me an incredible expression. But I have to be quick...she could be distracted by a leaf.
